Vortex Refrigerated Air Dryers
Vortex refrigerated air dryers are engineered to provide maximum energy efficiency
and service life. Moisture and contaminants are efficiently separated from the
compressed air stream and automatically discharged from the dryer. Our non-cycling
dryers include Best-In-Class features that make them the logical choice for
many
refrigerated dryer applications.
Energy savings up to %53 with the aid of economiser
Consistent dewpoint performance at 0-100% capacity
Smaller and compact design with the mono-block heat exchangers
Low pressure drop and high efficiency heat transfer
Reliable and silent operation
Reliable components for long service life
Vortex Absorbtion Dryers
Vortex absorbtion dryer is energy efficient in every aspect.
The design and quality ensure that Vortex absorbtion
dryers operate efficiently to provide dependable
low-pressure dew point performance at continuous load.
The Vortex absorbtion dryer has been designed for high
drying efficiency at the lowest energy cost. The desiccant
is also waterproof and mechanically stable, which makes
it particularly suitable for long periods of operation. These
dual-tower regenerative desiccant dryers are an economical
and reliable way to dry compressed air to dew points
below the freezing point of water or to reduce the moisture
content of compressed air for use in critical process
applications. Some of the features of Vortex absorption
dryers are as follows:
Designed for consistent-pressure dew points
Eliminate water and freeze-up in low ambients
Delivered completely assembled, piped and wired,
with a full charge of activated alumina desiccant
Only hook-up of utilities is needed for operation
Include structural steel frame, complete with floor stand
The moisture laden compressed air passes through the pre-filter, here
moisture load is reduced through coalescence. Condensationis
removed through the drain valve ADV1. At the oil filter oil vapours are removed
completely, small level of water condensationis purged through the valve
ADV2. Compressed air is then passed through a 3-way valve into the Tower.
The Towers are filled with Activated Alumina as desiccant
(Molecular sieve available as option). When air passes
through Tower 1 which consists of “DRY” Desiccant, it gets
completely dried, and passes through check valve and after
filter. At the after filter, Desiccant fines are removed. Therefore
dry compressed air passesout at the outlet.
Regeneration takes place in 2 stages
a) De-pressurisation
b) By passing Dry air.
c) Water molecules seep out of the desiccant and appear on
thesurface.
“Super Dry” purge air passes through the Regeneration“Nozzle”
and
the desiccant bed thereby completely carrying away the water molecules.
Tower II gets regenerated and is ready for the next drying cycle.
